Climate change mitigation is one of the most important global priorities. In order to achieve this mitigation it is essential to develop projects oriented towards the reduction of emissions.

Carbon markets are one of the different economical mechanisms oriented to the mitigation of climate change, so it is important to know about the different technologies and alternative energy, to look for projects that may reduce the emissions in comparison to conventional systems.

This course presents a global perspective that will help you in the selection of an adequate carbon market for different kinds of projects, quantifying a reduction of emissions and calculating aspects such as:

  • Carbon footprint.
  • Energetic savings.
  • Income derived from the mitigation of climate change.
  • Time of return of investment.
