Labor Competence Certification

A "Competence Standard" is an official document that is valid in Mexico used as a reference to evaluate and certify people’s competences. The competence certification is the process that people follow to prove with evidence that they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, without considering how they were acquired, to cover a position at a high level of performance according to a Competence Standard.

The required competence standards will be established working together with CFE at the initial stage, and will support the curricular design of the MOOC courses. With this, an educational frame will be offered for training and raising the necessary competences required in the national electric sector.

Since these standards will be registered before the DOF, any competences certification center will be allowed to use them complying with the guidelines and policies of this Institution.

The parameters, indicators, and national-level-established criteria will allow those who prove competence through the evaluation process to obtain the official recognition in the field of their competences.
