Currently, the use of electric energy is a daily activity, however, very few people know the concepts and basic principles that allow the comprehension of how it works, which are its basic parameters, how it is measured, and how to best use it.

This course presents basic concepts like voltage, current, and resistance, which allow the comprehension how power and energy consumption are measured.

The course will help you differentiate the components and parameters in an electric circuit, and differentiate a direct current electric circuit from an alternate current one. You will have the chance to perform remote practices in a virtual lab located in the facilities of Tecnológico de Monterrey to perform measuring experiments and the monitoring of basic electric parameters.

In addition, you will know how to make an efficient use of electric energy focused on the protection of the environment and the reduction of costs in the electric service.

Join us through these six weeks of learning.
